Notebook Draft + A Nice Photo
September 7, 2025, 4:15PM ESTJust wanted to make a post to get into the habit of posting and enjoy the creative process of it.
This week I had some surgery and the recovery left me with some free time to work on my notebook I'm creating. It's a notebook specifically designed for software engineers/developers, both frontend and backeend. It has places to take notes from standup, ToDos for the day, commitements, pages for drawing diagrams and even places to write what you learned or are proud of for the day.
It was an idea I got when learning about KDP and I was thinking of a niche that I might be able to create a notebook for. Of course, as a software engineer by trade, it was a pretty obvious idea to make a notebook for engineers like me who like to stay organizeed and take proper time with design work to make things that work well, are maintainable and easy to understand!
I already had a format that I've been using for years in a plain notebook, but I never knew that I'd eventually be using this format to create an actual product.
Currently, the notebook is mostly done, with a couple of more page of content needed and a lot of tweaking. I ordered a proof copy from Amazon to see how the print looks like and gather more feedback before officially publishing it. My hope is to get it published by October 3rd. Stay tuned!
